Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of motivation which has an impact on hotel operators' job satisfaction. This study aims to understand the lead factor of employee commitment by looking at the relative effects of intrinsic motivation factors on hotel staff's job satisfaction. The study involved 384 hotel employees who worked in Jakarta hotels with 4- and 5-star ratings. A descriptive test and multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 26 are used to analyse the data. The results reveal that there is a significant impact on job satisfaction from security of employment, achievement, responsibility and work for oneself. From the hotel staff's point of view, findings from this study shall be considered.
